Go check out Blaqk Ink Style!
The forum is open here. If you are a Blaqk Audio fan, join. A LOT of hard work has gone into it so far.
I just want to state that the main page of this website has gotten over 300 hits since I reopened it two weeks ago. Don't be afraid to leave comments everyone!
Another thing I forgot to mention about last week is my bird. A couple months ago, I had a bird couple make a nest on my window unit in my dorm room. I noticed a couple days before I had to be out that there was two tiny baby birds in the nest. I started freaking out thinking that they would die because I would have to take my window unit out. Well, I just couldn't have that. I started bringing everyone that walked by into my room and showing them the nest until everyone in the quad knew about it. My friend told me later that this plan worked very well. I then worked my way up res life until I found someone who made it so I could leave my window unit in until the birds can fly. They will then take it out for me and call me to come pick it up! I'll post pictures of the birds as soon as I get them off my phone.
I don't have internet in my apartment yet, but I haven't been in Rolla since I moved into my apartment, I've been back home visiting. My internet won't work at home though, which is why I have not been on.
In other news, I might get my job back at the gas station I worked at last summer working weekend midnights for the summer. Yay to a job!
Thursday, May 10, 2007
This week was final's week so I was studying like crazy. Plus, I have to be out of the dorms so I've been looking for an apartment. I was supposed to sign for one last Friday and move last weekend so I didn't have to worry about it this week. But, the girl that was supposed to be my roomate ended up not wanting to sign until she finds out if she has a job this summer or not. She wanted to wait until Wednesday to make up her mind. I told her I couldn't sign then because all my finals were Wednesday and Thursday and we have to be out of the dorms by Friday at 9:30 am. She seemed to not care and so when I tryed to tell her I couldn't wait any longer she didn't want to talk to me Monday morning. So, Monday I went and looked at a 1 bedroom apartment and signed a lease and started moving in. I left her a note telling her I was sorry, but I couldn't wait and she wouldn't talk to me when I tryed to. I then get a call from her a while later screaming and crying all pissed off at me. I told her I had tried to tell her what I was going to do and it was kind of her fault for not signing the lease when she said she would. I found out Wednesday morning that she's been going around telling people I ruined her life. Oh well.
On top of all this, I've been helping to set up the Blaqk Ink Style message board which has seemed to have many problems. But, they have been solved and it should hopefully be ready to open soon! I would like to state that it is NOT my website and I'm NOT in charge of it, just hosting it so I don't want any messages or emails asking questions about it.
Anyways, have to finish moving.

Thank you and have a nice day.
I'm getting ready to host a site considering I have more space than I know what to do with. It will be for the band Blaqk Audio. I'll post a link when it opens up, from what I've seen, it's going to be really nice.

My father gave me two books for christmas. I'm not sure why he gave me the ones he did. He knows I'm not all "The power of God can save anyone from anything." and all that shit. But, he gave me these books. Let me just type the author's note for you.
*******
As I developed this series, I had two equal and opposing concerns. First, I didn't want the reader to be too frightened of the devil. Compared to Jesus Christ, Satan is a whimp. The two aren't even in the same leaue. Although the supernatural evilin these books is based on a certain amount of fact, it's important to understand the awesome protection Jesus Christ offers to those who have committed their lives to him.
This brings me to my second and somewhat opposing concert: Although the powers of darkness are nothing compared to the power of Jesus Christ and the authority is not something we casually stoll int. The situations in these novels are extreme to create suspense and drama. But if you should find yourself involved in something even vaguely similar, don't confront it alone. Find an older, more mature Christian (such as a parent, pastor, or youth leader) to talk to. Let him or her check the situation out to see what's happening. Ask him or her to help you deal with it.
Yes, we have the victory through Christ. But we should never send in inexperienced soldiers to fight the battle.
Oh, and one final note. When this series was conceived, there were really no bad guys on the Internet. Unfortunately that has changed. Today there are plenty of people out there trying to draw young folks into dangerous situations through it. Although the characters in this series trust Z, if you should run into a similar situation, be smart. Anyone can sound kind and understanding, but their intentions may be entirely different. All that to say, don't take candy from strangers you see... or trust those you don't.
*******
Ok, you can not tell me that isn't gay. I even read one of these books just to see what they were about. They are poorly written and pointless examples have been used in them. I mean, the main problem in this book is that this girl has to get some evil spirits to leave the lead singer of a band that worships the devil. I mean, we all know that these type of people have preternatural powers like this guy did, and it was nice of the auther to warn us to get a grown-up's help when we meet one. And, the book didn't even have any big words in it!
The name of this series of books is Forbidden Doors. They are stupid and pointless. And they can hardly be called novels. Maybe for a five year old. I read one book in about an hour.

I got many things. I got a Dell Digital Jukebox (that won't let me upload music onto it), The Pirates of the Carabean VHS, a ton of PJ's, a calender, a huge bottle of ranch dressing, money, and a bunch of other small gifts. I also got my birthday presents even though my birthday's January 16th. The DJ was partly for my bday. I then bought some webspace with my own money useing my mother's credit card. But, as I was getting ready to pay her back, she said, "Just make it the rest of your bday present." But I still had to give her $20 because the space was more than she was planning on spending.
So, in case you didn't get that, I now have my own webspace. I bought it from the same person hosting this site at this min, but I will be moving this to my own space as soon as it is set up. I will have the link up, so expect that. Yay!
Gah, I have to go clean now because we are having our whole family over tonight and I have to clean the computer room even though the mess is all my sister and cousin becuase they use it as their playroom. I can't wait to move and have the computer in my room! They need to finish our new house, they are almost done with the electricity. When we move, my sister is getting her own computer and she told me she is going to make it pretty! I asked her how and she responded similar to this, "I'm going to put up a pretty background like a kitty or Hillary Duff instead of stupid guys with pirced lips, noses, other things and tattoos all over them!" I told her to have fun. I swear, I would have no idea who this Hillary Duff person was if my sister didn't have pictures of her everywhere. I have also heard a song of hers, I think. I'm not sure though, but whoever the song was by, it sucked!
Well, I've got to go now. I'll post more later. Tata!

I have to go to my father's house till x-mas so I won't be blogging much till then, but I will try to get to a computer and update everyone on my wonderful life! *rolls eyes*
Just for the record, I'm 99% sure that I'm getting an Ipod for x-mas. We will find out though. I'm really hopeing to get enough money to buy my own webspace between x-mas and my birthday! And I hope to get AFI cd's and Skinny Puppy cd's and Caliban cd's! I need to put my amazon wish list on this site because I know people want to buy me stuff! Yeah, moving on...
I am now the only person in my family that does not wear glasses and/or contacts. My sister had to get them this week. That sucks to be her! I hope I never have to get them and if I do, I will get purple contacts!
Everyone go to my newest site here. It is the official site of a kick-ass guitar player named Tyler Bryan! His band's site is here so go listen to their music! They are great! I swear, you will love them if you like hard rock/metal music! Tell me how much you love that site and this site now that I've got it fixed! Yay!
So, talk to everyone lay-ta!

And now, I'm off to do my homework!

Today it was very cold. Me and my friend Shannon spent most of the day together after church (eek). We went to the park and watched Final Destination and Just Married. I think durring the day it got above freezing because there was some moisture on the driveway that was not frozen, but yet the snow was not melting. But when we were swinging at the park at 8:30 pm, it was pretty cold and there was frost on everything. I am hoping that for some reason they decide to cancel school tomorrow. I know this won't happen though.
So, I saw the new AFI video.... last...... thursday? I think that's when it was! It is so amazing! Kind of confusing, but I love it! Everyone should go watch it now on the official site!
One more week of school! Then it is christmas break and off to my father's house for 5 days! (I swear, I can't wait to go... I always have so much fun sitting around doing nothing at my father's house!) But anyways, I'm pretty sure that I am getting an ipod for christmas from my mother and John. I can't wait for that!
Lyrics to a Killing Game by Skinny Puppy:
fallen angel head crashes dead out of control lost memories staircase twists darker rooms lit with left out toys after playing men changes toys into tools twisted playthings on the staircase fools
whose weapons represents the killing game who taught the killing game who taught the killing game awaken eyes sewn wearing glasses dripping tapping at the temple door locked inside scream inner scraping tooth and nail nowhere to go quiet retraces forcing light tears then pretend nothing blinds minds closed in sanctuary closed in sanctuary padded walls not quiet storms fury burned out killing time who taught the killing game time's taught the killing game herself no i taught the killing game first passing words distant pain remember trains of thought collide no one view window pushing faces through sharp cold glass poke bloody holes exposed i taught the killing game first i taught the killing game first till at last you regret tortured animals wake up time beckons death upon myself eyes travelled harden strange no stronger feeling tempting motion slows to a crawl places his weaponry and it's a trap let go the springs snap shut gazes show sharper teeth giving in to the jaws of death i taught the killing game i taught the killing game first i taught i taught i taught the game first first first
that is a great song and I absolutly love it! Hear me?
Anyways... Most of the people reading this probably haven't heard from me for a while. I haven't been up to a whole lot. No new concerts because no bands have been here that I want to see since Hoobastank. I really need to go to a good concert soon though because those are what I live for. I made a new site that will probably open up tomorrow or monday, as soon as I tell Ty I'm done and he can ok it. It is his official site because he is the guitar player of Vital.
Here is my rant of the moment:
So, my birthday is comming up and my mother said that she would buy me a domain name for an early present! I wanted to buy www.tylerbryan.com for the Ty site. I went to talk to my host and ask him for the little number thing I needed and to make sure it was ok for me to get a domain name for the site. I ask him if I can and he just says, "No." I then asked him why and he started giving me all this shit about how it wasn't possible. I asked him if he could support domains and he told me he can. But, he said that he would have to make me a whole new account if I wanted a domain name and that I would have to set it up myself. Gir!!!!!!!!!!! That is a load of shit because all he would have to do is give me the little number and I could do the rest! But, me being me, I didn't prolong the argument because, 1. he is hosting me for free, 2. I'm don't like arguing, and 3. i'm not quiet sure, I can talk about anyone into anything if I want to, so I don't know why I didn't. I think I get on his nerves.

Me and my 2 friends got there around 3:00pm and walked around the venue and then got in line. We were the first people in line so i was very happy. My friends walked down to a gas station to get some Mt. Dew Code Red and I stayed there in line. While they were gone, two more girls got in line behind me. We were just sitting there talking and this old guy in a really nice sports car pulls up and parks right next to us. He had country music playing extreamly loudly. He started talking to us and saying that the music he was playing was by some famous country singer and he was his brother. This guy was crazy! We were trying to ignore him and he got out of his car. He was wearing these super-tight biker shorts and he was like 60 years old or something!! I faked my cell phone ringing and said I had to go. My friends were back by now. I walked a few feet, and then hid behind this light pole thing. I was just standing there watching this guy yell at my friends about how they weren't cool enougth to be stoners. I was cracking up. And just to add to it, the guitar player for AAR (I later found out his name was Nick) was sitting about 10 feet away from me against a wall. He was just looking at me and giving me weird looks. And then he got on his cell phone and was talking to some person about how that guy was there and I heard him talking about me! I mean, hello, just talk about me right in front of me why don't you? I don't care if he's in a band or not! But, this group of girls walked by and they saw me and asked what I was doing. I told them about the guy and one of them decided to go over and talk to him for some reason. After a little while of this, the rest of them went over to try to 'save' her from him. He wouldn't let her leave so they went and got a security guard. The guard made him leave, but not before my friend got a picture of him. I'll post it when I get it developed. So, that was my fun before the concert, now for the concert.
They let us in and I got in the front row, center. I grabed a Hoobastank poster on my way in too! Defuser was very good. I enjoyed their performance. Then was this band with a weird name that starts with an 'O'. They were great if you ask me! They were crazy! They had 10 people in the band including a trumpet, trumbone, bass, 3 or 4 different types of guitars, 3 drummers and a bunch of other people. They were so funny, expecially when they danced. Then was HOOBASTANK! Hoobastank was so awsome!! They had so much energy and really got the crowd going! Dan kept jumping around more than I thought he would and I was finally convinced that he is better. I can't wait to see them again! I left the mosh pitt after Hooba and bought a Hooba shirt with the tour dates on the back. I stayed in back at a table to watch The All-American Rejects. I will say they were better than I thought they would be. But, I don't really have much to say except the lead singer was going to jump off this amp that was probably 10 feet above the crowd, then he saw that the mosh pitt was mostly 10 year old girls and didn't.
After the concert I stayed for about an hour and met all the Hoobastank guys! I got them all to sign my old Hoobastank cd, got my picture taken with each of them, and had actual conversations with all of them! I talked to Dan the longest. We were talking about their official board mainly. What was really funny is, while we were talking, this girl came up and she goes, "Did you mess up or something, like when...". She was then inturrupted by a strong and sarcastic "NO!" from Dan. It cracked me up for some reason! Chris said he liked the shirt I had just bought because I had put it on over my other Hoobastank shirt I had worn to the concert. I talked to Doug about his hair cut a little. I liked it! And talked to Markku about his earrings. They looked smaller than they usually are... The lead singer doodled on Dan on the poster I had grabed before the concert, but that's ok, cause I had grabed another one after I left the mosh pitt. I had to leave though because the venue people kicked all the fans out! How rude!!
I ended up leaving the concert with Hooba's autographs, pics with them, a water bottle that Doug handed me as they left the stage, a towel from the band that started with an 'O', an AAR pic, a Hooba setlist, 2 Hooba posters, some gross green drink, a green light-up cube, a keychain, an 'Out of Control' single, a thing to get 'The Reason' on Dec 9th, brused ribs, a hurt neck (I rocked out durring Hooba!), and best of all, happy memories!
Sorry, that is very long, but if you read all of it then you rock!

But, anyways, I went to the St. Louis AFI concert last night. Here's what happened:
I just got home from the AFI concert. It is 1:12 am. I got there around 4pm and waited in line for 3 hours. They then let us in at 7pm. Me and my friend started in the 7th row. That would have been fine, except, the guy 3 rows in front of me was at least 6 ft tall. I decided to get in front of him. The mosh pit was already squished by this time. When I got in finnaly squeazed my way in front of him (after about 20 min of trying) I couldn't stop and I guess I was stupid and I made it to the front row. This would have been fine except, when the first band came on people pushed forward EVEN MORE. I didn't think that was possible!! Durring the concert the security guards poored water all over us and I got soaked from head to toe. Then, AFI came on!! OMG, if i didn't think they were pushing before, they sure did then. I guess durring one part of their performance I looked really bad cause I was just hunched over with my head hanging over the edge, lightly mouthing the words. I looked up and Jade was just staring at me like, "are you ok?". I was just like, "I can't breath, how are you?". I tryed to scream every song, but I just didn't have enought air. And the lead singer in the first band, right when they came on... I wasn't looking and as soon as i looked at him, all i saw was his knee coming right at my face. Of corse I didn't have time to move, so I got hit and I have a HUGE bruse right on my forhead, along with a nice bump. The last song AFI did was 'God Called In Sick Today' witch is my favorite song! Davey steped off the stage and onto the metal bar thing keeping the crowd back and then he started walking on people's hands! He was just standing on their hands in the middle of the mosh pitt! And he also did a flip into the pitt in the middle of the concert. I touched his leg then and then he jumped down and was singing in the crowd, i then touched his elbow! And also the lead singer of the starting band, he jumped off the stage and then walked right over to me, grabed my shoulder and used me and the girl next to me to help him stand on the bar. He just stood there and I'm like, "hello, my arm was there!". Hot Water Music was good too. But, the only song of theirs I knew was 'Remedy' from the PETA cd. At the end of the concert I was so wet, my shirt was wet, my pants, shoes, socks, underwear, EVERYTHING was soaked. It felt good, untill I walked outside. It was 46*F out there (please do remember that freezing is 32*F)! OMFG!!! I am still soaked cause I just got home minuits ago. Oh, and before the concert, I met Jade and got my pic taken with him!! I'll show you guys as soon as i get it developed! But, I'm freezing, tired, smell like pot, so I'm going to go take a shower and go to bed!
I am going to a Hoobastank concert in 2 mondays, so look for what happened at that show soon after that. I also need to type a real review of this show and find my reviews of other concerts and get those up.
